1998

1998 seems to be one of the best years in this blog. It includes two of my all-time favourite albums...ever! And the other albums are not bad either. Genres include electro, dream-pop, alternative folk/country, trip-hop, guitar-indie, brit-pop, folk-punk and of course melancholic singer-songwriter stuff. This list competes, with 2001 and 2005 in the hardest lists to make so far. So enjoy the sweet sounds of 1998.

1999

Welcome to the 90's! this year's list is not as amazing as the years before and after it. I don't know why. This is a chance though to bring forward artists, that wouldn't have the chance to be introduced in this blog otherwise. And don't get me wrong, there are some exceptionally good albums here. Not many of them are that special to me personally though. Genres include post-rock, brit-pop, psychedelia, guitar-indie, folk, indie-pop, garage and space-rock. As we move to the 90's the bands featured are a bit bigger acts, since some really good acts ended up in the mainstream at that time.
